Do you know a young adult looking for a fun way to Join the Movement to end MS and get more involved in their community? Ask them to be a part of a brand new Chapter-wide super team made up of Walk MS teams and volunteers led by young adults ages 13-19.

FUNDRAISER SPOTLIGHT

Illana Friedman participated in last year’s Chicago Walk MS event despite being nine months pregnant. This year’s walk will be extra special for her as her son, who was born six days after the 2013 Walk, will be there and the family tradition of Walk MS will officially be passed on to the next generation.

Like last year, those living with MS will receive a special I Walk with MS t-shirt, which can be picked up at the mission tent the day of Walk MS on Sunday, September 7.

GOOD THREADS T-SHIRTS

Creating custom or team shirts for Walk MS? We have partnered with GoodThreads to give you a team shirt option. Each of your unique stories is a reason that the National MS Society works relentlessly toward a world free of MS. We would love to see those stories displayed on your custom shirts on the day of Walk MS. Features of the GoodThreads store include a “save and share” feature for team captains to share designs with team members, customizable templates, and a “start from scratch” template where photos and text can be added.

We hope you find this tool useful when designing your team T-shirts and can’t wait to see your unique designs! Visit the store by logging into your participant center, going to your personal page and then finding the store banner at the bottom of the page.
